The second annual 'Tee Off for Tar Heels' tournament is a student run golf tournament at the UNC Finley Golf Course on April 17, 2010. In conjunction with the College Sport Research Institute’s annual conference, Tee off for Tar Heels golf tournament is an avenue for businesses, alumni, fans, or visitors to enjoy a round of golf at one of the area’s finest courses. The event is planned and conducted by students in the Sports Administration program at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. All the proceeds raised from the tournament will be given back to the Sports Administration department at UNC-Chapel Hill in hopes that future students will benefit and the program will continue to grow. Our hope for the tournament is to provide guests with a leisurely day of golf. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as well as various door prizes throughout the day. Also, for the first year ever, the Golf Tournament will serve as a qualifier for the Acura College Alumni Team Championship at Pinehurst, NC in November 2010. As graduate and undergraduate students we are eager to gain experience working in sport and are delighted to provide you with great service during your stay in Chapel Hill.
